Make some of archive accessible only to patrons

Is it possible to make a portion of your posts accessible only to patrons? I have a large number and was wondering if there was an easy way to make some (but not all) of my archive a reward tier.

That could be done with Patron Plugin Pro - a premium addon to Patreon WordPress:

Using Patron Pro’s advanced locking method in its settings, you can make a post type to be public after X days, or lock the last X posts of the post type.

The first would show all posts that are older than a given amount of days (ie, 30 days, 180 days etc), whereas the second would only lock the last X posts (ie last 10, 100 etc). The rest would be public.

These features are in the Pro version and not in the free version.
