I’m a NADDPOD podcast patron at a tier that allows access to their private RSS feeds, and while the podcast eventually does seem to become visible in my feed, it takes longer and longer every week. At first it was only a few hours between when I get the email saying the new episode dropped and when it showed up in my feed, but now it’s a few days. As a developer, it seems to me like a server capacity issue. As more people are subscribing, the service needs to go through a longer list of custom rss feeds, placing the new episode in each one. The problem will only get worse as the podcast gets more popular. It’s a simple fix to parallelize, but it requires some engineering effort. Customer service directed me here to request that it be added to the backlog. Any thoughts?
